One person killed, five injured in McCracken County wreck

One person has died and a family of five were taken to a hospital after a wreck in McCracken County Saturday night.
It  happened near the 1600 block of Said Road at around 9:00.

Sheriff’s deputies say a Ford passenger car crossed into the opposite lane while going around a curve and hit a Chevrolet Suburban.  The Ford then caught on fire.

The driver of the Ford died in the crash.  That person’s name has not been released.

The couple and their 3 children in the suburban were taken to Lourdes, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
