Traffic signal outage planned on Lone Oak Road in McCracken County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it plans to take a traffic signal out of service along Lone Oak Road in McCracken County on Tuesday.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says the traffic signal at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Lakeview Drive will be taken out of service starting around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, so wiring can be installed for new signal heads and for signal support cables to be raised.

During the outage, the intersection will function as a four-way stop with signs in place. To facilitate some of the installation activities, flaggers may direct traffic in the intersection.

Todd says the new signal is expected to be in service by about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
