Man accused in 2015 quadruple murder appears in court

A man charged in the murder of his family appeared in court in Calloway County Tuesday.

Pascasio Pacheco is accused of murder, arson, and burglary in the deaths of a Calloway County couple and their two children last year.

Tuesday, prosecutors said they are still waiting on blood evidence to return from a crime lab. Without all the evidence, a trial date could not be set.

Commonwealth Attorney Mark Blakenship says this case will take time, because he is seeking the death penalty.
