Paducah Fire Department to get more than $15K in grant funds

The Paducah Board of Commissioners approved an ordinance to accept a grant award for the Paducah Fire Department at the city commission meeting Tuesday night.

The grant comes from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.  The Foundation is awarding the Paducah Fire Department $15,125.

The city says the money will be used to buy safety equipment, including breathing hoses, an air card, and carbon cylinders. No matching funds are required.
