Rail crossing to be closed in Hopkins County

A road will be closed in Hopkins County on Thursday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says KY 1221/Pond Rivers-Colliers Road will be closed so that a rail crossing can be reworked.

This is about 2 mile west of the KY 70 intersection.

The road is expected to be closed around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday and will reopen sometime on Monday, April 25.

There will be no marked detour.
