Murray, KY man injured in overnight crash

A Murray, Kentucky man is in the hospital after crashing in Lyon County overnight.

Kentucky State Police say Melvin Odell was driving on US 62 near Kuttawa when he swerved to avoid a deer, wen through a ditch, and hit a tree.

He was airlifted to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

An investigation is ongoing.
