Police investigating auto burglaries in Carbondale

Carbondale, Illinois, police say they are investigating two auto burglaries that were reported Tuesday. 

Police say they responded to an auto burglary complaint at a business in the 700 block of East Grand Avenue on Tuesday. They say some one entered an unlocked vehicle there and stole property between 1:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. 

Also on Tuesday, police responded to an auto burglary compliant at a home in the 400 block of South Ash. They say someone entered a unlocked vehicle and stole property between 9 p.m. on Monday and 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
