An Anna, Illinois, man who is a convicted sex offender was sentenced today to two years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of failure to report a change of address, the Union county state’s attorney announced Tuesday.

The state’s attorney’s office says 48-year-old Timothy Moutell failed to report his new address, which he is required to do under the Sex Offender Registration Act. He was arrested in January for failing to report his new residence after an investigation by the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
