Wreck sends mother and two children to local hospital

A woman and two children were taken to a local hospital after a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say the wreck happened around 5:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Krebb Station Road. They say 31-year-old Jenna Rickman of Paducah was driving her White 2005 Nissan Altima northbound on Krebb Station Road, and 17-year-old Dylan Barrett, also of Paducah, was driving a 2011 Ford Fusion southbound.

Deputies say Barrett failed to yield the right of way and came into Rickman’s path. They say Rickman and her two sons, 4-year-old Jackson Rickman and 12-year-old Ethan Rickman were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries described as "non-incapacitating."

The McCracken County Sheriffs Department was assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional EMS, the Hendron fire department and Jason’s towing.
