The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says on Tuesday a detective was contacted about possible drug activity.

A person had discovered text messages on a phone regarding the sell of Methandone pills.

The person sending the text messages was identified as 63-year-old Cheryl Groat.

An agreement was made to meet Groat at a local business on Cairo Road to buy 60 doses of Methandone.
