Ledbetter woman accused of stabbing husband

Kentucky State Police are investigating an overnight assault in Ledbetter.

Around 10:25 p.m., troopers were called to Sheila Drive on reports of a man stabbed in the abdomen.

Troopers say Ronald Cobb was stabbed by his wife, Brenda Jewell, during a domestic dispute.

Ronald was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Early in the morning he was in surgery and his condition is unknown at this time.

An investigation is ongoing.
