One injured in two-vehicle wreck in McCracken County

A two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 60 sent a Paducah man to a local hospital Friday, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say when they arrived on the scene around 4:38 p.m. Friday, a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Crystal Ballard of Paducah was partially blocking the eastbound left lane of U.S. 60 in front of the Dollar General Store. Another vehicle, driven by 74-year-old Thomas Morrow of Paducah, was also blocking the left lane.

Ballard was making a left turn onto U.S. 60 when deputies say she pulled in front of Morrow’s vehicle as he was driving east on U.S. 60, causing Morrow to hit the left side of her vehicle.

Both vehicles had air bag deployment. Morrow was taken to Lourdes by Mercy Regional EMS for "non-incapacitating" injuries. Deputies say Ballard was not injured.

Both vehicles were towed by Jason’s Collision Center.
