Man accused in Hurst, Illinois, murder appears in court

Benjamin Howell was back in court Monday on a charge of first degree murder in the death of Chad Jones.

Williamson County, Illinois, deputies found Jones severely beaten at a home in Hurst in the early morning hours of April 29.

Judge Brian Lewis found probable cause in the case against Howell.

He’ll be back in court on June 13.
