Three injured in weekend wreck

The Kentucky State Police says three Marion, Kentucky, residents were injured in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon on U.S. 641 in Crittenden County. 

Troopers say 25-year-old Wade Wedeking was driving a 2003 Chevrolet van southbound on U.S. 641. He tried to make a left turn into a driveway just north of the intersection of U.S. 641 and Kentucky 70, and turned into the path of a northbound 1996 Dodge pickup truck on U.S. 641 driven by 21-year-old Austin Story.

Wedeking, Story and Story’s passenger — 27-year-old Tiffany Combs — were transported by ambulance to Crittenden Health Systems, troopers. 

The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department, Crittenden Fire and Rescue, and Crittenden County EMS assisted at the scene.
