Police find Dracy Pendleton truck, no sign of Pendleton

Illinois State Police say they have found the truck that Dracy Pendleton was suspected of driving.

Police have been looking for Pendleton since Monday in the Shawnee National Forest area in Pope County, Illinois.

Pendleton is accused of shooting a Mahomet police officer.

Since finding the truck, police have closed off roads near the Lusk creek area.

Police say despite finding the truck, there has been no recent sighting of Pendleton.

Pendleton is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
