Police investigating attempted pharmacy robbery

Paducah police say an attempted robbery at a local pharmacy late Friday afternoon is under investigation. 

Police say the incident happened around 5:06 p.m. Friday. They say Kyle P. Katterjohn told officers he was closing his business, Katterjohn Drug Store on Caldwell Street, when a white male entered and demanded money and medicine. Katterjohn told officers he refused and he and the man scuffled.

The man fled, empty-handed, in the direction of South 12th Street.

Police described the would be robber as a heavyset white male wearing a white T-shirt
