Committee to help determine how to distribute money donated for tornado victims

A committee must now decide how to distribute the money raised to help people affected by last week’s EF3 tornado in Graves County.

Davant Ramage, head of Graves County Emergency Management, says more than $80,000 has been raised.

That money will be handed out based on need. They say they’re looking at all kinds of factors including those who have and don’t have things like insurance, kids, and pets.

The next meeting will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

If you would like to donate to the families impact by last week’s tornado, His House Ministries in Mayfield is accepting monetary donations.
