Is $622 million enough to fight Zika?

House Republicans have pushed through $622 million to battle the Zika virus. No one is celebrating as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that still isn’t enough to respond to the growing threat from Zika. The 241-184 vote broke party lines as Democrats lined up in opposition.CDC Officials say the organization is optimistic lawmakers will ultimately, quote, "do the right things."

We know President Obama already request $1.9 billion to fight against Zika. President Obama made that request three months ago.

Zika is spread my mosquitoes and sexual contact with an infected person. Zika can cause severe birth defects.
