City seeks National Register of Historic Places nomination for Paducah City Hall
Local leaders are working to nominate Paducah City Hall for the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places, according to the city’s website.
The city says it’s working on the nomination as part of the first phase of renovations for the building on 200 South 5th St. If city hall is nominated, Paducah will apply for state historic tax credits to fund the first part of the renovation project.
The city is seeking nomination under Criterion C. That centers around the building’s design, architecture, and construction.
