Memorial Day weekend kicks off pool season

Here’s one way you and your family can spend Memorial Day.

Paducah’s Noble Park will open its pool today for special hours. It’s open from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

During the rest of the season, it will be open Tuesday through Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Admission is $6 for adults and kids at least 5 years old, $3.50 for younger children.

The Robert Coleman Spray Park will also be open today. It’s located at Husbands Road and Walter Jetton Drive. You can stop by for some free family fun between 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. all summer long.

In southern Illinois, Carbondale’s Super Splash Park is open for business. The grand opening was held this weekend.

It has pools, a lazy river, a large water slide, an eight lane competition pool, and a concession area. The park is open everyday from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
