Man accused of sexual assault of minor wanted in Massac County, Ill.

The Massac County, Illinois,  Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for information on the whereabouts of a man wanted on charges of sexual assault of a victim younger than 13. 

The sheriff’s department says a Massac County arrest warrant has been issued for 26-year-old David Rogers, of Brookport. The warrant is for four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of  a victim under the age of 13.

Deputies say Rogers is known to frequent Brookport, Illinois and Paducah. There is also an outstanding warrant for him out of McCracken County.

On a wanted poster for Rogers, the sheriff’s department cautions that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
