Stefanie Martinez

Stefanie Martinez is ready to wake you up in the mornings! Grab your cup of Joe! Stefanie is co-anchor and reporter for WPSD Local 6 Today from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Previously, Stefanie was the morning anchor of NBC 24 Today in Toledo, Ohio. She also launched the station’s NBC 24 Midday Show, helping it grow from the ground up. Prior to her time in Toledo, Stefanie produced and anchored FOX 31 News at 10 in Albany, Georgia. Before the Peach State, Stefanie was morning anchor and host/producer of Local 7 Lifestyle, which she also launched, at WTVW – WEHT in Henderson, Kentucky.  Her first stop, however, was in Mississippi at WXVT. That also happens to be home to the original Doe’s Eat Place.

Stefanie earned her bachelor’s of science in electronic media communications at Middle Tennessee State University in 2005. She is elated to be back in the south near where she grew up in White Bluff, Tennessee, and is happy to call Paducah home.

Stefanie loves getting out into the community and supporting local businesses. In the coming months, she’s looking forward to tasting her way through the area, enjoying the great outdoors and introducing her fur baby, Foxy, to the region. She looks forward to getting to know all of you and making sure those who visit feel welcome.
