Overnight lane restriction on I-24 at Purchase Parkway

One of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 at the Purchase Parkway will be closed overnight.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews will have it blocked to install a temporary barrier wall.

The lane restriction will be where Purchase Parkway Exit 52-A northbound merges with I-24 eastbound traffic at Exit 25 in Calvert City.

Work is expected to start at 8:00 p.m. and should be completed by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday.

The temporary barrier is needed as part of the ongoing I-69 corridor upgrades.
