Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority foreign-trade zone activated

A foreign-trade zone has been approved and activated for the Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority.

The Riverport was approved to establish a foreign-trade zone back in December, but the the trade zone wasn’t activated until May 31.

The Riverport says the foreign-trade zone will help make the area more attractive by removing some fees associated with shipping through local ports.
