Tropical storm Colin gains strength, speed

Tropical Storm "Colin" is gaining speed and strength as it gets ready to strike Florida Monday.Forecasters say the center of Colin is expected to approach the coast of the Florida Big Bend area this afternoon or evening. And eastern Georgia and the coast of the Carolinas could get up to 8 inches of rain through tomorrow.

Florida Governor Rick Scott says the storm will impact most of the state in some way.

Colin’s maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph with some slow strengthening possible over the next two days.
