A Kentucky woman has died after she fell at Garden of the Gods on Wednesday, the Saline County, Illinois, Sheriff’s Office says.

The sheriff’s office says the fall was called in at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The 37 year old woman fell roughly 100 feet near the Table Rock formation at the wilderness area near Harrisburg. Saline County deputies and EMS, as well as the Equality Fire Department, responded to the scene.

The woman was pronounced dead by Saline County Coroner Jerry Watson, who is not releasing her name until her family is notified.

The Saline County Coroner’s Office, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Forest Service are investigating the fall, but the sheriff’s office notes that "nothing in the incident appears to be suspicious."
