Kentucky ranked 2nd laziest state

Laziness is probably not on anyone’s list of good qualities. The career website Zippia said Thursday that Kentuckians are just that, ranking the commonwealth second only behind New Mexico.

How did they determine that? They found Kentuckians work an average 38 hours and 30 minutes a week. The main reason is that 12.8 percent have earned a bachelor’s degree.

Of our Local 6 states, Tennessee ranked 12th, followed by Missouri at 17th. Illinois was ranked our least lazy state at 38.

By the way, Maryland is overall hard working at number 50.
