Calloway County man arrested on drug-related charges

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man they say had crystal meth on him when they pulled him over. It all started Thursday morning when deputies say they pulled Carlos Aguero over for a traffic violation. They learned Aguero was driving on a suspended license and had an active arrest warrant out of Graves County for failure appear in court on drug-related charges.

Aguero is 32 years old and from Dexter, KY.

Deputies say they patted him down and found a small amount of crystal meth on him. The deputies also found two bags of a "green leafy substance" in his vehicle.

Deputies arrested Aguero and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a synthetic drug, trafficking a synthetic drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Aguero is in the Calloway County Detention Center.
