Murray State experiencing power outage

UPDATE: Murray State University spokesman Shawn Touney says power is being restored to campus on a rolling basis starting on the south side of Chestnut Street. 

Murray State University spokesman Shawn Touney confirms the power is out on campus. 

Touney tells us Murray Electric is on campus trying to find the source of the power outage. He did not have a time frame as to when power will be restored. He could not confirm or comment on whether the outage extends beyond campus. 

We are working to find out more, and will bring you more details when they emerge.
