Deputies: Man flips truck, goes over flood wall

McCracken County deputies say alcohol and speed were factors in an early morning crash that sent a man to the hospital.  He was later charged with DUI and criminal mischief.

Deputies say Dale Bohde, 52, of Sedalia, Kentucky was driving west on Lydon Road when he drove off the right shoulder, hitting a utility pole causing him to go over the flood wall and flipping his truck.

The jaws of life were used to get Bohde out of the truck.  He was taken to Lourdes for non-life threatening injuries.  Lydon Road was closed for about an hour.

Bohde is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, driving on DUI with a suspended license, criminal mischief and failure to produce proof of insurance.
