Two arrested in Marshall County theft case

Deputies arrested two local men in connection to stolen golf carts.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were looking into seven golf carts taken from Kenlake State Park.

Deputies say the investigation lead to the arrest of Jeffery Morrison. He faces several charges, including theft by unlawful taking and obscuring the identity of a machine.

Deputies say they also arrested Justin Hanks last month related to that case, and there could be more arrests.

All seven of the missing golf carts have been recovered.
