Paducah Power lowering power cost adjustment

The Paducah Power System Board of Directors approved Monday a decrease in PPS’s power cost adjustment, to start on July 1.

The PCA will drop from 1.656 cents per kilowatt hour to 1.273 cents, PPS announced in a news release Monday. The company said that decrease will return $2.1 million to PPS customers. It added that the decrease means customers will pay a total kilowatt hour rate of 12.426 cents.
