Lane restriction planned on I-24 in Lyon County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it plans to restrict traffic to one lane on a section of Interstate 24 in Lyon County on Wednesday.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says the restriction will be near the 36 mile marker  of I-24 so crews can work on signs that direct truck traffic to the Lyon County weigh station.

Todd says eastbound and westbound drivers should be alert for one lane traffic from around 9 a.m., to around 2 p.m., Wednesday. All traffic in the work zone will have to move to the left-hand lane.
