Polls open for alcohol vote in Mayfield, KY

The polls are open in Mayfield, Kentucky. Voters there will decide whether to allow packaged alcohol sales.

Mayfield’s vote comes after Graves County voters turned down alcohol sales for the county back in January.

Supporters say it would bring more revenue and new jobs to Mayfield, but those voting no say the dollars are not worth it.

The polls will be open until 6:00 p.m.
