Students take part in summer music camp

Around 140 kids from 35 different schools took part in a week long camp at McCracken County High School.

Director Steven Page talked about what he hopes the students learned during that time.

"It’s a chance for them to play with other kids, to learn new music and maybe focus on some parts of their musician-ship that they don’t get to focus on during the school year, it’s an extra opportunity they don’t get," said Page.

This is the 4th year the Paducah Symphony Orchestra has held the camp.
