Teen injured in two-vehicle wreck in McCracken County

An 18 year old was taken to a local hospital after a two-vehicle wreck on Tuesday, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department.

The wreck happened around 12:44 p.m. Tuesday in the 9000 block of Blandville Road. Deputies say 18-year-old Danielle French was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang westbound on Blandville Road with 18-year-old passenger Jordan Moss, both of Benton, Kentucky. When French slowed to make a left turn, deputies say a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 43-year-old Jerry Hammond of Arlington, Kentucky, hit the Mustang’s rear.

French was taken to Baptist Health Paducah by Mercy Regional EMS for injuries deputies describe as "non-incapacitating."
