Sikeston DPS: Larry Weaver’s body found, 2 people arrested

Sikeston Department of Public Safety say the body of Larry Weaver was found Saturday morning in a cotton field off Highway FF near County Road 420 in New Madrid County.

Weaver, from Pittsburg, Kansas, was first reported missing earlier this week.

Two people have been arrested for the theft of Weaver’s motorcycle, which was stolen from a hotel in Sikeston.  Elise Coleman, 40, and Ronnie Robinson, 49, are charged with tampering with a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.

Sikeston DPS says they are looking for a third person and are calling Weaver’s death suspicious.
