Clear the Shelters

There’s a good chance your local animal shelter or humane society is overcrowded with animals that need to find their forever families. That’s why we’re teaming up with NBC’s Clear The Shelter initiative. We are highlighting five different Humane Society organizations in the Local 6 area to try to encourage you to adopt a local animal. We will show you the unique challenges each organization faces and how you can get involved by adopting and/or volunteering to help animals.

We have a list below of the local shelters taking part.

These organizations will hold Adoption Day events July 23rd  to try to clear their shelters.
