Man injured in motorcycle wreck

A man was taken to a local hospital after a wreck involving a motorcycle and a car at the Interstate 24 Exit 11 on ramp Tuesday afternoon, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department. 

Deputies say 70-year-old Eric Allen of Paducah was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle onto the ramp when the motorcycle hit the rear of the car in front of it. Deputies say the driver of the 2014 Kia Rio, 18-year-old Ethan Stelter of Benton, Kentucky, was yielding to another vehicle at the Y of the on ramp.

Allen was taken to a hospital by Mercy Regional EMS for treatment of injuries deputies say were not incapacitating.
