Land Between the Lakes facilities closed due to power outages

All facilities are closed at the Land Between the Lakes due to power outages.

The power outages were caused by strong storms that moved through the area Wednesday night.

This includes the Welcome Stations, Nature Station, Homeplace 1850s Farm, and Golden Pond Visitor Center.

The facilities will be opened when power is restored.

Roads and trails may be also blocked by fallen trees or damaged by the heavy rains.

People are being asked to avoid driving on roads across the recreation area so that staff can look for damage and begin clean up.
