KSP: Man killed after being pinned under tractor on I-24

Kentucky State Police is investigating a two-vehicle, deadly crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 24, about a mile east of Oak Grove.

Troopers say Clifton Spencer, 57, Columbia, North Carolina was driving a 2016 Freightliner tractor and trailer westbound near the 91 mile marker.  Donald Matthews, 26, of Tacoma, Washington, was driving a 2005 Cadillac westbound and hit Spencer’s trailer, causing his car to be pinned underneath.

Matthews died at the scene by the Christian County Coroner.
