KSP searching for escaped inmate

An inmate at the Graves County Restricted Custody Center in Mayfield walked away from the facility and jumped over a fence to escape, according to Kentucky State Police.

KSP says Capus Cain Adams, 28, of Mortons Gap, is described as a white male, 6’0" with a bald head and brown eyes. 

Adams was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and red/white striped jail pants. Adams was serving time for tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Adams could be en route to the Mortons Gap area.  Anyone with information can call Kentucky State Police Post 1 Mayfield at 1-800-222-5555.
