Judge upholds ruling on former Paducah officer

A judge has upheld the city of Paducah’s firing of former Paducah police officer Michael Redmon.

Redmon will not get a second trial.

The Paducah City Board of Commissioners fired Redmon last year after they found he used excessive force against Joseph Cerullo.

Cerullo filed a lawsuit against Redmon shortly after the decision.

Judge Tim Kaltenbach signed the upheld ruling on July 7.

Redmon can accept the judge’s decision or file an appeal with the Kentucky court of appeals.
