Police looking for suspect in theft from ballpark

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man they say broke into the concession stand at the Reidland Ballpark at 969 Said Road on Saturday.

Deputies say the man entered the building around 4:58 a.m. Saturday. He is believed to be in his early to mid-20s, and is described as having very close-cut hair, some facial hair, and a tattoo on his right forearm.

The man allegedly took a large amount of candy from the building, as well as other items. Deputies provided an image of the man from video surveillance, and they say he arrived on a girl’s bicycle and left around 5:20 a.m.

If you have information about the theft or about the man’s identity, you can call the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department at 270-444-4719 or Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL (8355).
