Carbondale women’s center collecting school supplies

The Women’s Center in Carbondale, Illinois, is collecting school supplies for more than 300 kids in southern Illinois, and the center says it needs your help.

Spokeswoman Lindsay Stockhecke says The Women’s Center has lost some of its past donors and welcome any contributions from the community.

The supplies will be given out at The Women’s Center’s Back to School Bash on Aug. 13.

You can drop school supplies off at The Women’s Center or the African American Museum in the University Mall.

We have included the center’s list of supplies and the flyer for the Back to School Bash to the left of this story.
