Station Burger raising funds for fallen Dallas officers
On Wednesday, many of you supported the five officers killed in a shooting in Dallas. The Station Burger Company says it’s sending a portion of its sales proceeds at all five locations on Wednesday, July 13, to the officers’ families.
Owner Carl Medlin says this is his fourth event for fallen first responders, and he hopes its his last. "I think its great to have people in west Kentucky that continue to show up and show their support for our first responders like they have in so many ways," Medlin says.
Kentucky state trooper Cameron Ponder was killed on Interstate 24 in Lyon County 10 months ago. Medlin invited Ponder’s mother, Brenda Tiffany, to Wednesday’s event. She couldn’t make it, but sent a letter to Medlin and our community.
You can read that letter in its entirety below this story.
