Influx of motorcycles in western KY expected due to bike rally

Drivers in western Kentucky should be on the lookout for more motorcyclists on the road over the next few days.

The annual Kentucky Bike Rally is being held July 14-17 in Sturgis, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says because of this event there will be an influx of motorcycles in the area.

There is also a possibility that traffic will be congested along US 60 and KY 109 near the Union County Fairgrounds at Sturgis as motorcycles, RV’s, and other support vehicles make their way to and from the event.
