Section of Graves County road closed by flood damage reopens

A section of a Graves County road that was closed after it was damaged by flooding is back open Monday night, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Wadesboro Road was closed Sunday near the intersection with Oaks Road because of damage to a cross drain between Hardmoney and Symsonia. Repairs were previously made to the drain, but more repairs had to be made after the pavement dropped at the site on Sunday.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says the road was expected to reopen Monday night after a crew performed some finish work and removed barricades at the site.
