Local hospital receives designation for nursing
Baptist Health Paducah has received a designation in nursing.
The hospital has received the Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, also known as the ANCC.
The designation, according to the ANCC, means that the nurses who work at Baptist Health Paducah trust the hospital, the hospital supports the nurses, and the community benefits from satisfied nurses equipped to deliver high quality care.
Part of the receiving the designation included surveying the hospital’s nurses. More than 75% of Baptist Health Paducah’s nursing staff of 700 took part in the survey. The survey is used to validate the hospital’s application.
Baptist Health Paducah is only the third hospital in Kentucky to earn the recognition.
