Visitation set for woman found dead in Calloway County house fire

A visitation service has been set for a woman found dead inside a Calloway County home that caught fire on Tuesday.

Kentucky State Police say Linda Whittenberg was shot twice before the house was set on fire by an unidentified man.

Troopers are still working on identifying the man who died of smoke inhalation.

A visitation for Whittenberg has been set for Saturday, July 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home located at 201 South Third Street in Murray.

There will not be a funeral, only a visitation.
